Is this worth a punt, even for creating a ''user?'' {Restoration not being the game for me...but renovating & running sure is.}
I wonder if it has an engine & gearbox? Does it matter if not? [not thinking of a pedal car, however ].....But something like a Ford sidevalve, or a later post 1950 engine, & box...''just to get it running and out on the road?''

I expect it does have an engine and gearbox as the seller only highlights the need for a rewire and interior work.
The pre selector gearbox would be a nice thing to have if it is there and even
if requiring attention, they are less complicated than they at first appear.
I think the seller has pitched the price about right.
Unfortunately, in general, the Lanchester 10 is not highly regarded these days - but as the saying goes "if the cap fits...wear it!" |

Tbh, I looked at the advert and didn't think it was all that bad for the money asked. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
