|
|
I recently spent 2 days trying to find a fault on my A40 truck. Eventually realised that the dynamo had stopped working (I am an electrical dimwit). I fitted a new reconitioned dynamo that I had in stock waiting for this moment and that turned out to be faulty as well.
In frustration I drove to ESM Minors and bought one of their alternator kits.
Spent a few hours fitting it and it worked perfectly straight away.
My question is :
Do I need to replace any of the old wiring with thicker wires to cope with the output from the alternator .
Thanks Mike |

| No, because the existing cables would have been specified for the specific load, this won?t change. |
