Lot number 7 at the Humbert & Ellis auction, 3/8/26

One of the very last Karriers I would think. Escaped to 1976, this very sixties simple little truck. Seems in quite good condition, will probably sell for a low price as there is not that much interest in these kind of trucks.

Some wrong "facts" in the description, maybe because IA wrote it?

This is incorrect:
"By 1976, the standalone Commer/Karrier branding was being phased out and replaced by Dodge, Fargo, and DeSoto names."
Dodge yes, Fargo I am not sure but maybe for some markets, but De Soto? That has been laid to rest in 1961 or 62, and was never known for its trucks. Did they even make DeSoto trucks, ever?

Also this:
"Manufactured at the Dunstable and Huddersfield facilities in the UK as part of the Rootes Group, before Chrysler took full control."
Chrysler took control of Rootes in the late 60s, not around 1976.

We owned a Bantam for many years, lovely little trucks. Ours was one of the last off the line being built in 1978.

Our lorry has actually just resurfaced and we were offered it by the current owners...at over three times the price we sold it for!!!
