Can anyone help? someone down in the South East ideally with an old car that could have its engine note recorded asap!

-------------------

Hello, my name is Peter Carnell; I'm doing a production at the Royal Academy
of Dramatic Art of "All That Fall" by Samuel Beckett. As part of which we
require some sound recordings of a car from the 1950's. Having looked at
your website you seem the perfect person to talk to!

Do you have or know someone who might be able to help me with this, The only
problem being I would need to do the recording this week, short notice I
know, I can of course travel to the location of such a car preferably near
London!

I do hope you can help with this and look forward to hearing from you.

My address is soundlight (at) rada.ac.uk

Tel 0207 908 4884

I don't know if it is any use but I posted a short film on youtube last week in which you can hear the engine and exhaust sound of the P2

Somewhere I've got an LP produced by the BBC sound effects department, from the early 70s, and it has such delights as a Wolseley starting up and driving off, Concorde taking off, a fire engine driving by, and a few other aural delights Cool
