G'day over and up there,
I just thought I would draw your attention to an Ebay item that I wish I could get my hands on, distance is not the only impediment to my doing so..... the price would make me think twice, but it must surely be a rare opportunity for you chaps to go real vintage caravaning as summer approaches .
Could be one for “Old Van Man” I reckon.

Kaybee,
No bids on it yet, I might "snipe" it when nobody's watching.
By the way, I found another nice little Pommy van living in Oz not far from you @ http://www.albury.net.au/~tim/maymus.htm
Might make an offer on it instead . |

You will need a Mustang to tow that one!
Or any other car named after a horse - Hyundai Pony, Dodge Charger, Hillman Hunter........I could go on, but I'll get my coat. _________________ Brian

G'day Brian,
Good to see you again, take your coat off and come and sit by the fire awhile .
Your suggestions are unacceptable though........ me, being me, as Kaybee will attest no doubt , would want to put a Clydesdale between the shafts and just go cloppity clopping along the lane at a leisurely pace, and Marysville in Victoria would be an ideal place to start the journey.
I wont mention it on the Oz forum but, we stayed a day and a night at Marysville on the way home from our “Vintage” caravan rally at Mount Gambier last month, and nobody told me the Marysville Museum had a “Romany Vardo” in it........ so I didn't see it
Might have to go back just to have a look at it seeing as it's the only one in the whole wide world (so they claim)
