The Chinese are not going to let it happen to them... I believe Mao once said to the Dali Lama (after a friendly meeting) 'religion is poison'. How long before a country of over 500 million (mainly) untrammeled by religion totally dominates the world.
They must look at the rest of the world , with our religious conflicts and bloodshed, and think 'easy peasy'. But then: they may be the last hope for civilization. Just a thought Confused
They might end up making some good cars as well

Also read somewhere that the most widely used forename is Mohammed, and the most widely used family name is Wu. But you never hear of anyone called Mohammed Wu. Smile

It's quite simply natural selection. Nature works that way and mankind is of course a natural being.
The recent emphasis on 'diversity' etc placed at the fore by NuLabour is a means of tearing down the old order, not a bad thing in itself but the theory is that we will then all get along as equals and no-one group will impose their will on another... any Student of history might beg to differ.

The multicultural doctrine gives an ideal opportunity for the establishment of cultures within our midst, many of whom are hostile to us, those cultures use the weakness of our liberal elite rulers to flourish and grow stronger, our own civilised laws to defend their progress.
The current open border policy has brought us several new phenomena, or if not new then certainly ones that have been eradicated by years of western enlightenment and civilisation.
Remember the body of an African child found dismembered and floating down the Thames? Not, as you would imagine the victim of murder, but the subject of a 'Ritual killing in a tribal witchcraft ceremony'...in 21st century London!
So called 'Honour killings' have also seen a huge increase, as have drugs, child prostitution, brutal east European gangs, people traffickers, and gun and knife murders are now a daily occurrence, just start to take note of many of the surnames involved. Wink

This is why I believe that 'Multiculturalism' was wrong. We have our own culture, and it is one that has been developed and refined over centuries to be as fair and safe as we are able to make it. Around the world other countries may be viewed by us as uncivilised in relation to the British system, beheadings, stonings, and the like are Biblical savagery, humanity, or at least that of western civilisation has moved on since then.
Why then, would we possibly benefit from allowing, or encouraging those undeveloped cultures to flourish within our own?
Presumably the aim of migration to the west by those people was in recognition of western superiority in the standards of living, health and education? Why then inhabit this land in enclaves which wish neither adopt our dress, language, or customs, but also actively shun our values...it simply isn't logical.

As I said at the beginning I believe natural selection will decide our fate, numbers matter, and unfortunately the two European world wars have wiped out what would have been today several hundred million inhabitants of our European nations. If we continue as we are, Europe will become another province of Asia, Eurasia perhaps, and the fools currently in charge are doing all they can to make this happen.

How's your blood pressure ON? See this link, subject 'Porkbusters'
although it's something most of us know anyway seeing it in cold, hard, detail still makes my blood boil. Evil or Very Mad

er! is Rick away or something? Can't believe we're getting away with this thread. perhaps we should start discussing MPs cars or something, he may not notice the first few pages... Read somewhere that young David Steele has an Austin Ruby? Wonder what sort of car Brown would drive if he had to, a Wartburg maybe? Wink

Actually now that you mention it I won't post again on this subject. I hadn't considered that, if Rick isn't here then it wouldn't be fair to continue, although I don't believe anything defamatory has been posted.
This is an old car forum, not the place for politics I suppose, I just can't help myself sometimes!
Should you wish to continue an open debate on such issues then we really must meet up in secret in a hushed back room somewhere... er..not really how a modern western democracy does things that is it?...so how come we feel that we have to?...which was my point exactly! Wink

Surely we don't have to discuss cars here, this is the Off Topic board.

Yup I've been away at Alderhey Hospital since Thursday so haven't had chance to look in for a while. While this is the 'off topic' section, I think this thread and topic has probably had its fair airing on here now, and any continuation is probably more suited to the personal blog that ON set up for himself a while back, rather than here.

In case anyone wonders, by and large I agree with much of what has been said in this thread, but I think that it might be time to draw a veil Wink over it now, on here at any rate.

thanks, R
