Yes, I'll take the opportunity to give it a "make over" at the same time. Nothing too radical, I can't afford the pukka braided hoses, etc, but maybe some new chrome twiddly bits and paint.
The car itself UJ has been messed around with all of its life, so by the time we bought it there was nothing original about it except the shape and even then it had developed a few mid-life bulges - a bit like ourselves I would imagine!
My friend who was visiting from the States left me his Summit catalogue - I'm going to have to figure out how to peel the pages open after all the drooling I've been doing over them, the amount of parts you can buy for the SBC motor is fantastic. I think I need to determine a budget and then double it.

Scotty, watch Summits prices. Only this morning I was looking at a part for mine, it was $119.95. EXACTLY the same part from 440 Source, $69.95. Thats a big difference.... |

UJ - I'll keep that in mind re Summit, I'll do some alternative sourcing to compare prices.
