...the car, not me!

Hi everyone...newbie alert!

I'm a bit of an Alfisti and there seem to be at least one Alfa owner here so hopefully I'll settle in ok Very Happy

My signature shows current and previous Alfas, pics below show the current stable...

1953 Alfa Romeo AR51 "Matta" (means crazy!).

1993 Alfa 155 Q4 (LHD turbo 4wd).

A picture of the two together at the 2007 National Alfa Day:

I also run a 156 with a storming remapped 2.4 JTD engine and SWiMBO currently drives a 916 Spider.

Feel free to abu..err, ask questions Very Happy

Hi wrinx, and welcome from another Alfa owner, but only a modern one at present. Was yours the Matta at Stanford Hall a couple of weeks ago, if not it looks very much like it.

That was the first time that I'd ever seen one in the metal Smile I couldn't resist a (didn't turn out too well though Sad ) photo of it parked next to an SZ, probably as great a contrast as you could get from one maker:

My daily (and at present only) driver is a 156 1.8 Turismo Sportwagon, originally Y reg but now with my personal plate. It was parked in the main Alfa car park, next to son-in-law and daughters GT Blackline (instant classic?) which was probably more noticeable if you had a chance to have a wander around the assembled Alfas.
