Is there such a thing?
After buying a small caravan [real small] to pull along behind the 57 split, spent the last couple of days on the net [how I found you guys ] without much success.
Wondered if there was a decent publication devoted to these or is it just pot lot in the normal classic car mags.
Help/advice much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Brian,
What caravan do you have?
We have a QEK (East German fibreglass) which is very light and tows behind our Anglia 123E for weekend shows.

Hi Andrew
We don't have a caravan yet
We're looking hard though
Do you have a pic of a QEK one [as the bus is German]
Cheers

Hi Brian
Thanks for all the links [I know what I'll be doing this evening ]
I haven't bought a caravan yet
It has to be quite small as an old boy told me this morning
"Splitscreen camper, that wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding"
Hopefully with the bus's reduction boxes still fitted and an engine upgrade from the 1200hp [30hp] to the slightly more modern 1600 twin port, I'll prove him wrong [I hope ]
Cheers

I'll have to try to sort a photo. Meanwhile if you do a search for "qek junior" you will find some (all with Gwerman text of course). I found some pics of beetles towing them earlier, and also Trabants. I think the laden weight is about the same as a Portafold!

Put the word "junior" with it, as that's the name of one of the caravan models. I've only seen two others in the UK, both towed by cars wearing continental reg plates. One was evidently en-route from the camp site to the ferry on a Sunday evening after Beaulieu Autojumble (September, a few years ago). The other was on a hill near Bath when I was going to Bournemouth (without the Qek) a couple of summers ago.
