God help us if that Top Gear mob ever get wind of the fact that some people choose to go caravanning in..... VINTAGE CARAVANS using VINTAGE CARS to tow them.
Their enthusiasm to ridicule will know no bounds .

I love James May's style of writing and recognize many of the facets that make caravanning so "interesting." I gave up caravanning myself upon realizing that every van or camper I had owned had been a magnet for people who had trodden in something nasty. Steam shows and country fairs were ideal for picking up interesting compounds with which to fertilze the Wilton or Axminster.  _________________ Due to the onset of my mid eighties I'm no longer sprightly and rarely seen in my Austin special.
