Does anyone know anything about Seat Memories? Such as a circiut diagram?
My Lincoln has one fitted as original, but it has never worked,. I though that it may be an interesting thing to try to repair it. Replacements simply dont exist... |

When I saw the title of this post I thought you were going to treat us to a tale that involved Spanish built rebadged Fiats!
Back to you problem, does the seat have stepper motors to contol the position, or is it a more crude "limit" switch design?

I'm not sure. I cant see any limit switches, but on the other hand, the motors just look like regular seat motors. All I can tell you for certain is that there is an on-off-on type switch, which leads into a little ''memory'' box.
No help, am I? |

Difficult to help, the one good thing in that the electroncs of that era would not have any bespoke or complicated chips, so it should be fairly easy for someone with an electonic background to sort out, is the memory box easy to get at? if so could you open it up and post a pic? |
