The owner of a very nice 1910 Argyll 16/20 hp I've been chatting with tells me her car is on The One Show tonight (I think its BBC) at 7pm.

I'm certainly looking forward to seeing and thought I'd share it in case anyone else would be interested.

I will try to remember, if I am not in, I will have the hope the i player online will include the one show!

So whay is her Argyll on the show? Is it a tourer?

Its not been our night - I didn't see it either! Rolling Eyes

The road into my village became flooded and we had to wait for the local authority to clear the water course before we could get home coming back from the weekly shop. I should have stayed at home and let the other half go when I had the chance, that's what I get for being an attentive husband.

Perhaps they'll repeat it and we can see if it was actually on.

Just checked the Beeb website. The One Show from tonight is not on the site yet, hopefully it will be on by Monday

I received an e-mail last night from the owner apologising, saying it was changed at the last minute by the Beeb!

Its now going to be broadcast (fingers crossed) tomorrow night at 7pm.

This time I'm not budging out of the house! Very Happy

well I don't know about everyone else, but I caught it on last night's programme, sadly the car didn't get much of a mention in the bit I saw, but a fine looking motor-car!!!

Yes, I saw it as well - and I agree, I would have loved to have seen some more of the car.

I suppose its comes down to the fact that the article was about the town, not the car, I can only hope now that the TV production company have the car on its lists they use it again, if they do I'll let you guys know.

On the plus side I just couldn't get over how imposing that tall, vertical windscreen looked on the Argyll - couldn't have done anything for its aero-dynamics though, I've seen slippier house-bricks! Laughing
