Hi
So it looks as if no one without prior knowledge managed to guess correctly then.

Although Buzzy didn't mention any prior experience so maybe he made a good call.

Just out of interest:

What about this one?

Penman,

Your Land Rover picture really surprised me. My first thought was that I knew where it was as in this one but then I thought it must just be on the other side..

so I looked for a left handed one... Unfortunately Raf's pics of the Santana don't show the (LHD) near side...but this one does..

So it looks like the filler doesn't change sides, it just disappears.

Must be something to do with running in submarine mode or maybe being an early one it just hides under a seat..

Peter

Am I right in thinking that one of the reflectors in the tail lamp unit threads off?

The Humber's is behind the reflector

I think Greeney beat you to it 52 but nobody has come up with a convincing answer for Penman's Land Rover yet.

Hi Peter
Actually you did.
It is under the drivers seat.
I have been told that unless there has been a later conversion all the military ones had the filler concealed inside the vehicle for security purposes.
Whether the early ones all had them inside, or only military ones, I don't know.
