|
|
Hi
Does anyone know of a Morris 8 series one in either North Essex or South Suffolk(private or in a museum) that I could take a look at.
I have been trying without success to establish if the running gear and chassis is the same as on a Wolseley Nine (Rumour has it that it is, but before I order any parts....)
I have tried both The Wolseley Register and The Morris club, but have not been able to get a definitive answer.
Many Thanks _________________ North Essex,UK - Morris 8 tourer 1936 - Jaguar x350 |

Dave
Thanks for that, I am not sure how that would work unless Wolseley and Morrris used the same part no's. Perhaps you could check for me?
For instance track rod (rh thread) - m4923a
rear spring shackle pin - m7574a
Those are two of the many parts that I am likely to need _________________ North Essex,UK - Morris 8 tourer 1936 - Jaguar x350 |

thanks 47 jag,
thats just my point, most people think so, or assume it to be the case, but no one can definitely say yes or which parts, which is what I need before I can spend lots of money ordering parts.
So I thought the simplest way may be for me just to look for myself.

If you're still having problems, try contacting NTG on Bramford Road in Ipswich. They specialise in Austin, Morris and the like. They might be able to advise you. _________________ 1953 Humber Hawk

Hi, Suffolk is long and thin so south suffolk is quite a long strip. Is near Haverhill any good to you?
You are welcome to visit and the kettle is always hot, |
