Does anyone know anything about the above? I have recently seen a picture of a special Bodied Jowett Bradford sign written Hooper Coach-Builders.
I am aware of Hooper boddied RR and Bentley etc, but I have never before heard of Hooper boddied commercials.
I am not sure if the picture that I have is a spoof, or an artistic representation of what Hooper might have done (in the cash starved years immediately after WWII) or the picture of an actual vehicle.
Anyone know anything??

Hi Paul,
Perhaps it was a one-off specially built by Hoopers as their works hack, where the the sign is referring to "Hoopers" - the company, and not promoting a commercial body building aspect at all?
But that's only a guess on my part - but I can't remember ever seeing anything relating to Hooper commercial body work.

That's a good theory Scotty. It is a bit like a gown van, but not so high and it just sign written with the company name - not promoting commercial body building.
The Bradford was available as a chassis cab for custom body building and several were special boddied both here and in New Zealand and Australia.
