hi all,
can anyone tell me if a waterpump off a ford thames k series engine would fit my '61 ford consul 204e, i've seen a pic of the pump on ebay and what i can see looks the same, also can anyone tell me if a waterpump seal for a ford 100/300e would fit my 204e consul?
many thanks,

I don't know about the pump for shure, but I have a fordson tractor with a "K" type engine and I think it would be a lot larger than that fitted to a consul ! It's most likely simmilar in design, but I bet it's a lot bigger. There is a myriad of styles and sizes if water pump seals, but they usualy come down to 3, small medium and large. Most use the medium, out here (in Australia ) a common seal is the one that fits a Holden and I have put them into dozens of different vehicles from BMC and localy made Fords to US built side valve ford V8s and Studebakers, I think the seal you are thinking of would fit (not 100% sure though) but if it doesn't you would just have to go up or down one size.
