I shouldn't be that surprised because it's only done 800 miles since the last one. I was worried about the silencer. I discovered a hole the day before the test, patched it up hurriedly and the man says there is another small one alongside it.
Looks as though a slice of my pension may be going Moss's way unless there are any other suppliers.

No Rick. The 10/4 really should have some attention to the bodywork. It's sad that a car which is only 77 years old should start to rust so soon. It didn't have any rust when I restored it in 85. Perhaps it's my fault.
If I can get the brakes on the special to pull up evenly, over 30mph, I shall be sending that for MOT.

Pigtin, it has to be worth seeking out any old motor factors in your area for the exhaust. I have one near me who has a loft full of obsolete silencers, front pipes etc.
