Hi guys / girls glad to find this forum. I have just bought an austin 8 (what have I done) never tackled a project this big before but hopefully with the help of this site I can get to grips and get the old girl back on the road

Welcome to the forum Jenny! Nice to see another Austineer on here
I would suggest joining the Austin Counties Car Club (if you haven't already), they are very good for parts
The 8 looks lovely - I've always liked them and they are a bit different from the Austin Sevens everyone seems to have! _________________ Richard Hughes |

Welcome allong, looks a good project, doesn't look too bad, ie.. it is all bolted together, what needs doing, and what are you planning to do, often two different things in restoration! hehe

thank for replies. Picks tell lies thou. The dreeded tim worm has been busy underneath. But hope to get it M.O.Td within two months to be able to drive it this year and full strip down in the winter to undo previous bad repairs |
