After Rick's post about the 1930's streamlined artic, I started searching for 1930's streamlined commercial vehicles and remembered the Lledo Dodge Airflow Tanker I used to have. Great looking vehicles - are there any based in the UK? I can't find much information about them and just come up with die-cast models of them, so if anyone has any photographs/information (how many built, who used them) etc i'd love to see it.

Here's an interesting later Dodge, with the same style of cab as Rick's crew bus

And a photo of both types

They certainly are, I love the art deco era and the Dodge Airflow embodies it very well. Found a thread about them here

http://forums.aaca.org/f147/1936-airflow-tanker-231217.html

One member said that aroun 250-300 were built in total. I'd be interested in more information if anyone has it
