What a mess! It probably could be repaired though, as the nose cone of Somersets can just be unbolted and replaced with a donor. I suppose it all depends on whether the chassis is bent. But it certainly looks far too good to break from where I'm sitting.

Yeah should be rescued really - a forum member has a new-old-stock front end top panel for one of those!

A decent body shop should be able to work wonders with that even without donor panels. I had a Herald straighten out that was probably as bad as that, the chassis was quite bent but I managed to source replacement sections... which were duly returned to me unused with the repaired car Rolling Eyes
