Anyone remember these cars?
My dad had one, in a very period colour scheme of Bitter Green (a very sudden lime green) with black vinyl roof. Real wolf in sheep's clothing stuff, with that grunty Holbay engine, which could be a sod to start if you weren't careful. A very nice plush interior, too, all wooden panelling and soft cloth seats. Bit like a poor man's Dolomite Sprint in some ways.
I wonder how many are left? Actually, if anyone out there knows the whereabouts of OUA 532L, give me a shout! |

Hi
I know someone who is selling a gold Hunter, H reg I think, but doubt its a GLS!
I haven't seen an 'Arrow' series Hunter in use for ages, can't say its a favourite of mine but many of the non-sporting 70s cars are getting scarce on the roads now

Hunter GLS? Wonderful motorcar. They have a very big place in my heart! I had a metallic green 'un when I was courting (good car for that), a brown metallic for spares, and ten years before the pair of them, I was GIVEN an ex-Chrysler Competitions H120....I wonder where that is now?
I'll be thinking of the Sunbeam all night now! |

Mine was a 1973 model 1500 saloon in Firebrand Red.
Ran like a dream and was built like a tank.
Oh happy days. |
