|
|
It is becoming increasingly obvious that I am not going to live long enough to get through all my projects. There's nothing much wrong with me, it's just that the projects are gaining on me.
So, having owned an A40 Sports for a couple of years just sitting in my garage doing no-one any good, I have decided to move it on.
I could do with advice from someone in the know as to how much I should be asking. I don't want to sell it cheap and I don't want to sell it dear.
I'll try to take some photos tomorrow; I can punt it about at the NEC then.
Anyone help? |

Thursday - Sunday, Uncle Emm.
You & everyone welcome to visit the Riley RM Club stand. Ask for Uncle Alec.
I can tell you which of the exciting Royale Owners Club events I want to attend next year. |

If you're going to the NEC, visit the Jensen Owners' club stand and tell them about your car for sale. We love these little cars in the JOC. Designer Eric Neale's finest.
If you want to advertise it (free, even with photo) in the JOC magazine, then contact me.

Many thanks and will do.
Perhaps we should explain that the bodies for this model were made by Jensen under contract to Austin. |

Looks quite tidy, the wonders of an aluminium body! Do they suffer from electrolytic corrosion anywhere between the body and chassis? what condition is it in mechanically and interior wise? _________________ Garage: 1939 Morris 8 Series E, 1942 Morris Z Van |

If someone can give me an idea of what I should ask for it, I will put it into the advertisements listings.
Would you think about £3 grand? It is unknown mechanically but was in use in 1995. It has a 1622 engine fitted but comes with a sizeable hoard of spare parts incl. 1200 cc engines, twin carbs, spare gearboxes, quite a lot really. I can see things about it that aren't original but overall it is quite a tidy car.
The interior is surprisingly good:
As I said at the beginning, I intend asking around at the NEC, starting with the Jensen Owners Club. |
