I reckon this site is THE best site on the net for pictures of classic cars...or just about anything else!

Its updated in real time and is global, which means there's always something new to see - just type in a keyword and you'll be captivated for hours, I know I am!

Here's something from the site for Uncle joe - the photo' is of Ince-in-Makerfield, Weds 24th July 1974, and the location was called Baldwin St.!

This link takes you to the first page of the biggest thread I have ever seen on a forum. 1415 pages, 49521 replies, and 2,600,649 views (at 3/1/2007). Put aside three months to work your way through every page. The subject is classic wrecks in the French countryside!

You will cry at some of the rarities that are slowly decaying.

Hi

I was never very keen on france but maybe it would be good to look around the countryside and in peoples barns etc!

Amazing thread, I wonder how many active members on the forum, also when did that thread start, I never looked!

Cheers

Dave

I hadn't thought to look either but their forum stats are:

"Nos 321 128 membres ont déjà posté 18 438 707 messages (dont 17 343 aujourd'hui)"

17000 a day!

We have got a little way to go on this forum to catch up!!
