Sorry, I don't have one, but as the mushroom ended valve was used on all Fords from the Model A (1928) onwards for many years, you should not have too much difficulty finding one. I am fairly sure that all side valve models had the split guides.
If you have no success, then one can be made fairly easily. Take three lengths of steel rod, heat and bend them in the middle to form a 'U' to clear the valve head. Next weld the straight sections together at the top and bottom, forming a three-sided ' half-cage' so that the two outside rods are directly opposite one another and the third is half way between. Finally grind, or use a round file on the bottom section so that it conforms loosely to the diameter of the valve stem.
I used to use one of those on various Model A's and found it an admirable tool. _________________ Dane- roverdriver but not a Viking. |
