|
|
I just bought Stanley my Standard 10 and he is broken.... His engine died on the way home.
He has (had its out) a Triumph Herald 1200 (37bhp) engine fitted...
I Soooooooooo need to get him back on the road he is my only car....
Is there someone out there who can help me please.
A short engine would suffice, if it is a Triumph...
I am so fed up and would be so happy if someone could help......
A Huge thanks for any help......
Emma.

Whereabouts are you Emma? It might help if a forum member has a spare engine lying around. Sadly I only have a spare Morris Minor engine
Hope you get it sorted! _________________ Richard Hughes |

Now I can see the crank I was surprised to see the word Standard on it and the con rods....
Is this normal for a triumph herald engine???????

Oh thank you for that... It could sort me out totally....... Well Stan......
I shall question the owner over a few points and let you know the outcome.
I shall post some photos of Stan soon too.......
He needs a new paint job but that can wait for a bit.
Thanks again fingers crossed...
