Having bought a caravan I camped out at a revival of the first vintage show I ever attended with a car: back in the eighties.

How things have changed: Plenty of exhibits but the thirties was poorly represented. The oldest car was an Orient Express of 1896 then a Peugeot of 1904 then nothing until around 1950 save my own 1932 Austin 10/4 and something rather special I photographed (below). The newest car was a repellent five-year-old Cadillac.

This car must be as rare as teddy bear truds, What is it?

Hi pigtin, good to hear from you again. A quick look-up suggests a 1938 Lammas - a car based on the (US) Graham chassis, but built in Blighty. Very nice Cool

RJ

(PS no 10/4 photos?)

You're right Rick. A Lammas Graham Foursome I believe it was called.
Apart from some photos of a terrifying folding scooter that's all that were taken. The memsahib was complaining her phone battery was almost flat.

Will post the scooter photos in the bike section later.

Don.

Hi Don,

That's a real rarity. According to Wikipedia only 30 were made. Thanks for posting.

Peter.

If you look closely at the radiator you can see a Lalique glass mascot. Never seen one of those left on a unattended car.
