Been looking round for a Wolseley Six lately and came across this old Gumtree ad. :-

"1973 wolseley six complete car for restoration benn stood for 4 years wolseley six (linthorpe, price: £50) 2009/04/18-07:08:51"

I assume this one would have been on middlesbrough.gumtree.com ?

Anyone in that area and remember having seen the car? Maybe in a Scrap yard by now?

Found out it was bought by a guy who already had a Six.

One of them he sold on and the other he weighed in as it was too far gone to do anything with. Sad

Someone contacted me about a Six before we went away, still waiting for photos, apparently belonged to a Wolseley employee. If I hear of anything I'll post details .. from the description it didn't sound like it was in the best of condition however

Keef

In Practical Classics Spring 2010 issue, there is an advert for Balby Motor Spares in Doncaster, which lists among the cars for sale: "1974 Wolseley Six, in white, manual gearbox, been stood, needs some tlc. £495"

Any idea if you have this one on your register?

No mention of a Six, but it's A30 related Richard. Wink

Six *might* be this one? :-

Never heard any more or saw photos, it could be but from their description the one they were talking about was a bit dog-eared. Maybe it just needed a good clean!?
