Hi All,

This sounds really skinty but seeing as my two classics are an Anglia 105E and an MGB I would really like two pages out of the March issue of Classic Car Mart magazine, is someone willing to send them to me once they have finished reading their issue?

In the 'Six best classics to restor' article I want the page with the Anglia and the page with the MGB on. I couldnt justify spending £4 on the magazine just for those so would be grateful if someone could help me out as I like collecting things like that relevant to my cars.

Cheers

Perhaps I can help? I'll be finished with my copy in about twelve years time - will that be soon enough?

Sorry Welshie, but you've gotta be tighter than a fish's bum, and that's watertight!

Seems like a fair enough request to me, shame the replies weren't a little more in the spirit of the forum.

I'm on the lookout for February's copy of Heritage Commercials, if anyone has a copy? Or just the article about the Fiat/Ferrari transporter would do Smile

I thought they were in the spirit of this forum light hearted and not insulting even welshie can see the funny side of it. I often buy a mag just for one artical but still enjoy reading the rest of it, one has to pick and choose these days with the costs and gone are the days when I would have two or three a month. Its like this forum I personally have no great interest in classic caravans or even trucks but I've loved reading your blog and still enjoy reading all the other posts as well.

Maybe rip out the 2 pages and put the mag' back on the rack. That way you get around your abhorrance of wasting paper and unless you have a clone who just wanted those pages, whoever buys the mag will never know.

{You really need a very sharp scalpel to cut down the page edges, and then iron the mag between two tea towels... so you may have to visit a couple of other aisles in the supermarket, just try and be discrete]

I did buy a book and one chapter had been neatly cut out. The seller refunded my money and allowed me to keep the book. I would still like to get the complete book.
