I've always quite fancied a 99 turbo, and am on the lookout for press pics or photos taken that show the 99, either in period or recent pics taken at shows, to use on a website sometime. Has anyone got any material that I could beg, borrow, buy, copy or whatever??!

thankyooooo

Splendid, will have a look ta.

Reminds me, there was a bloke living not too far from here with an assortment of early turbos in his garden. He was an arch enthusiast, although you wouldn't think so looking at how the 99s and 900s were disintegrating around him. A couple of years back I saw a scrap lorry with 3 99 Turbos on the back, destined for the crusher. They looked quite faded, but 2 were the rare 3 door hatch versions, and I nearly gave chase to the scrap lorry to rescue them, but driving along behind the lorry I could see that the grabber arm had done for the roof on each car sadly Crying or Very sad

I know 99s are a bit modern, but the turbo ones really caught my eye when I was a yooof and still do now Wink

I know I know, it'd have to be a minter in black - no additional projects for at least another 80 years (says he, planning to get another on Sunday Rolling Eyes )
