I like the old street photos and the old road signs and the deserted streets. If the photo had been a bit to the left it would have told you but it ends in an n so that narrows it down a bit.

VO is Notiinghamshire, so could be M for Nottingham or if N could be Ilkeston.
May be a red herring.

I suspect the building on the right is railway architecture. It's definitely an "N".

The place looks very familiar, NW London and I am sure that it is over/near the railway, or part of the overground part of the London underground, and the N would tally with London Co-Op

For some reason Kenton and Kingsbury come to mind.
But it is 50 odd years since being anywhere in that part of the world.

The car was from Nottingham. It was one of a pair we bought in 1960 and used for taxi & wedding work. 426FVO & 427FVO.

The location bafffles me, yes, r/h building does look railway. In the middle distance is a bow roofed building.

Car colour was Coffee and Pink Wisteria
