This looks a right bargain for someone, I can only think the short MOT is putting people off. It's even got a towbar! Would be great for towing a period caravan Smile

Shocked Shocked Shocked

Hi
Surely that would have had a 5 digit mileometer, so how would they know if it is on it's 4th time round the clock?

That is a coincidence. Very Happy Only a few minutes ago I was posting a photo of my Viking Fibreline caravan, when I thought it would be nice to tow it with the Hillman Minx. Very Happy
Now I have seen another the same colour, and complete with a towbar. Exclamation
If anyone knows the whereabouts of a towbar for my Minx please let me know,(yes I know there is one on the back of the car in the photo, but the owner would not like me sneaking round tonight and unbolting it).
Or I might have to make one.

This very Minx was at Battlesbridge today, and apart from a bit of filler in the front wings and one of the rear arches it is really sound. I couldn't see any evidence of welding either.

Nobody`s been tempted to buy it for £1100.00. Question
Ideal as a daily classic runabout. I find ours a great car to drive around, and with 1725cc power. Exclamation

I know! If I wasn't absolutely maxed out with classics I would buy this. The Cambridge is going to have to come off the road soon for repairs and I need something to drive daily, this would be ideal.

That does look a nice honest classic that could be used for both shows and as a daily, wonder if the (what I presume is a typo) mileage stated in the ebay listing is also putting people off? Laughing

The mileage on the clock is 32,000 which I reckon could just be original. The odometer has 10ths of a mile on it though, I reckon that was what the seller was looking at Laughing
