Yeah..its Goodwood breakfast club time again..this Sunday. The theme for the first is "Best of British"...anything British based..cars, motorbikes and trucks.
I will be there come rain or shine
Possibly the best free show in the U.K.

I won't get the Dodge down there for some years, but I had wondered about seeing if they wanted to display the old, signwritten, trailer that it once dragged behind it as thats quite an old thing in itself
It was originally built pre-war, then enlarged to accomodate the 30s Alfa that the owner acquired after the war. A roof canopy was designed and fitted, and the whole lot 'road' tested to 98mph (I'd love to have known what the trailer was attached to!!).

Hi Rick
Next September I am thinking of coming to UK for a holiday and was actually thinking of attending for the Revival.
Where can I book tickets etc and do they have a parking area for modern cars and is it free or do u have to pay extra.
Whcih day would be best to see most cars etc (I would really enjoy seeing the Saloon car races)
This year will it be 50s cars or 60s?
Since I like minis a lot I would really prefer 60s but it doesnt matter that much!! |

If you go to the Goodwood.co.uk website, there will be a contact phone number where you can phone and book tickets. You have to pre-book, no arriving on the day without a ticket.
You can park in the public parking area for no extra charge.
Friday is usually practice (ie qualifying day) with races on Saturday and Sunday. The saloon car racing is (if I remember right) spread over both Saturday and Sunday.
hope this helps
