I think I may have inadvertently caused some disruption of some classic outing yesterday. My 1968 Volvo 120 estate is my daily driver and I was doing just that, going to meet up with a chum from another village. On reaching an intermediate village en route I was surprised to see a chap with a camera leap off a bench and appear to busy himself taking shots of the Volvo. At the other end of the village,at the hall, were parked an Austin Healey sprite, crew aboard, and a Triumph herald.Just after leaving the village I encountered a very tidy Ford cortina coming towards me.I thought this chap looked a bit unsure of his location but was quickly gone.
However minutes later I saw him in my rear view mirror, apparently following me,and he continued for some distance to do so.Eventually he must have realised I was not one of this elite band and it was pure coincidence that he had encountered a 43 year old Volvo enjoying the beauty of rural Northumberland.I still have no idea what was going on but,if prizes were involved, this chap must have blown his chances !!!

Sounds like one of the treasure hunts that I go on looked in my mirror once and had six other people following me, all good fun though

On a couple of occasions I too must have caused confusion as I have been hailed as a taxi!

(I don't really have a Taxi for hire sign but maybe I should.)
