Hope everything works out for you, and you and your son are all ok.

Sorry to hear that.
If you have any fractured bones is there a MS or celebral palsey charity in your area with an oxygen chamber as the use of one of those speeds up the healing considerably and with a stronger repair as well. _________________ Keep Torqueing,

As long as you and your son are (relatively) ok, that's a plus.
Motorcycling nowadays isn't like when many of us here started out - I started in 1971 and the traffic was nothing like it is today, not to mention the number of idiots out there now who not only believe they own the road they actually think they're living the dream by driving like the morons in the movies!
Thinking good thoughts for you and a speedy recovery. |

My daughter runs an oxygen chamber in Walthamstow (MS Action charity) and they had Dean Ashton in for treatment (on a brokem metatarsel) when he played for West Ham and they improved the healing time enabling him to play in the FA Cup. He scored a goal but they lost. _________________ Keep Torqueing,

If the Triumph doesn't work out for you there's the Indian Royal Enfields.
On my recent holiday over there you could always tell an Enfield with its recognisable single-lung beating away. Apparently for an Indian motorbike rider a RE is 'the' bike to aspire to.
I looked at them in a Delhi showroom, where they were for sale at about £1400 brand new, a lot cheaper than the importers over here are charging sadly. |

I have a 1959 5TA. Which I rode for over 3000 miles last year. Very reliable and well able to cope with modern traffic even on Motorways.
The engine seems to have an unburstable reputation, but the front brake does not match modern ones though that does not trouble me with my riding style.
I sold a two year old Kawasaki W650 because I enjoy my Triumph so much more.
