hi
im new to the forum,
i have just recently purchased 2 x Audi 100 C1
1971 , Met green, original tyres, exhaust brakes etc, still with 8 track in it, been off the road since 78, one owner from new and original 12k miles
1974 , white with black vynil roof, original exhaust etc, 8 track, 1 owner and 16k miles
both cars laid up for a good while and not n bad condition, no welding needed to ether car, basically bodywork (no holes) just some surface rust, buth cars running fine
lookng for some help in restoring cars, i.e. (where can i get items chromed) (where to get spares) etc
any help appriciated

There's a wide range of companies around that will chrome items for you, sometimes it better to go to a local firm, sometimes it's better to send the items off. Whereabouts in the country are you? I've used Niphos in Crewe, and Nuneaton Fine Finishing in, er, Nuneaton. Both had pretty good results.
Did you see the recent article in, I think, Classic and Sportscar magazine? They tested a 4-door 100 and a 100 Coupe S. |

thanks for the replys,
will be getting the cars home on sunday, so plenty photos then,
i have not seen that feature, will go and have a look for the magzine, im in the north of Scotland

Hi mate, welcome to the site. Would love to see some piccies of the Audi's? First car I ever drove at the Car Drome in Romford Essex, was my girlfriend of the times' dads' Audi 100 Coupe S when I was just 16. Loved it, lovely car it was. Very rare now too.
