I am retiring from work. At the end of April I am finishing up 50 years working is enough.
I have decided to economise ( not that I am skint in any way ) I have sold the Astra and bought a Suzuki Alto. £30 a year to tax....Group 3 insurance..50 to the gallon local running..70 on a long run. The cost of fuel now at £7 a gallon made me change. The wee car is not too bad surprisingly. Quite cheap as well at £1500 for an 05 plate. The estate is big road tax but the classic insurance more than makes up for it.

Can't you just get a V5 from an historic Marina and do a bit of a fiddle
