|
|
For many years, tucked away in my shed, I have a 1968 13/60 Triumph Herald Convertible. Once the cherished posession of my late wife.
I always intended restoring the car, but my increasing age and reducing energy have made me realise that sadly that is just a pipe dream.
Consequently I have reluctantly made the decision to move it on.
The car is not beyond restoration but several panels need extensive repair and there is no hood. The engine is from a later Triumph 1300 and was very good and reliable when last in use.
Anyone on here interested as a restoration project or basis for a Kit Car or for spares? It does have a V5c in my name and original G registration.

Sounds like an ideal candidate to become a Sammio Spyder......;

Maybe worth dropping them a line? |

No. It is still in my shed. Much work will need to be done to make it roadworthy. It has probably stood now for at least ten years.

There is not really sufficient space around it to produce reasonable photos. However, my son is talking about fetching it out to dispose of. I will take photos and post them on here when he does.

I'm seriously interested in it.... so much so that I'm thinking of coming down to have a look at it so please don't let him dispose of it just yet. The soonest I could come down is Tuesday. Do you have a price in mind? You can always PM me if you'd rather. _________________ "people with money buy a Rolls Royce, people with taste buy an Alvis". |
