This is The Colonel Mustard,The Colonel for short not a caravan but unique none the less.

I would be very happy to recieve any information about him as I know very little,I don't believe the interior to be original & would love to know what it should be like,

Dear Mr 5ran

Highly unlikely that I could tell you anything you don't already know.
The name Dandy was used by The Murray Caravan Company.
These are reproductions of advertising pieces for their better known product.

This last piece is a bit of a potted history and includes a side on motorhome photo.

I don't know if you will need to have a Yahoo account and sign up to the forum to look?
The Dandyman may have been produced by The Dandy Owners Club, an organisation I believed to be all but defunct. Yet looking at the site to confirm it i found a report from a 2011 camping rally penned by the same person as the above history.
Ian at Riva leisure may well be able to add more history and finally there is a Howard V Murray listed as a supplier of commercial vehicle parts who I would have a fair bet is part of the original producing family.
I have a 1960's/70's green Dandy folding camper and contribute to the Dandy campers http://www.dandycampers.org/ on which I have posted your picture of Colonel Mustard.
