I'd forgotten this was on, I'd have popped over for a look on Saturday if I'd realised.

Show was cancelled on Sunday due to poor ground conditions, several of the people at Nantwich Festival had gone out to Kelsall and turned back when they saw people being turned away.

Interesting. There were no parades on the Saturday, and there were plenty of tractors in action, dragging lorries across the display areas.

The coach, with the dorsal fin on the roof, is an Albion, while the caravan is a 1933 Winchester Smile

Saturday nights Rain was the final straw, and on Sunday the Site was unreconisable, and flooded. It was a sensible decision to close the show, and turn away people wanting to come on to the field, the organisers already had a huge job to get the exhibits already on the field off, so no point adding to the trouble.

Cheers

Dave

Those were built about 2 miles from my house but the building is no longer there.
John Deere is building a new museum this summer near the original Waterloo Boy site. Very Happy
