Hi
We are very infrequent posters on this site; as a matter of fact this is my first post. While we have a 14’ Stirling in its last stage of restoration we are also looking for a larger trailer 17’ and above. This brings me to the Carlight that was on eBay the other day and then was redrawn as being no longer available.
Of course you got a bit upset yet another auction ended early and sold. So I wrote to the owner, and asked if it got sold. I promptly got the answer that it was actually stolen from his sons driveway earlier the day! So if anyone spot an old (sixties) Carlight Continental for sale in the near future or parts from one be very suspicious as it can very well be a stolen one or parts from a stolen one. IF you hear about any one for sale matching the description, please contact me with a PM and I will fwd your info to the owner.
Sincerely Dyna
PS: Just to a search for a Carlight with the search option of completed listings turned on and it will be right there.. |

| Gulp! Our Carlight is standing on our drive. What rotten luck for the seller. Hope he gets it back. |

| On ebay again, still in grantham, different photos and looks like different premises. Surely it cant have been stolen and must have been an excuse in case someone complained they had sold outside ebay. Surely a thief wouldnt advertise it in the same area two days later without having painted it or something?! |

I think I have to agree with you, but why? Add a disclaimer and your home free, why say stolen - could have said I had it sold elsewhere. I'm sincerely sorry for believing the seller.
Sincerely Dyna
PS: Guess we can bid on now |
