Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone here on the forum knows anything about the company “Cleaver-Hume International”?
They appear to have sold a range of car and motorcycle accessories in the 1960s. The only information I have on the company is from adverts and bizzy.co.uk, with the latter being unknown with regards to reliability.
An advert which can be viewed here shows an address of 29 Wright’s Lane, London, W8. The phone number provided is Western 9861. The only other source of information is bizzy.co.uk, which shows the company was incorporated on 6 February 1962 and later dissolved. Companies House WebCheck service cannot find any record of the company.
If anyone has any information at all, such as catalogues, old adverts, addresses, contacts or products, I would be very interested to hear about them if at all possible.
Thank you very much for your help in advance. |

I remember the advertized product. Graham Hill also used one.
I got this quote from the Autosport bulletin board:-
"Apart from Snetterton in 1964, where he wrote off BRM P261/1, Graham Hill rarely wore the rotary visor again - however, he did wear it in the 1968 F2 Holts Trophy final at Crystal Palace"
