Also a good few Aircraft and Cars

I used to really like this little show when it first started, you could arrive and leave as you wished,it was informal and had no rules or regulations.

Now I am afraid "Elf and safety" has took over...they even stipulate what time you should arrive.
I always feel like a prisoner being kept penned in at some shows nowadays.

I didn't once feel hemmed in, was able to wander all around the show area.

Vulcan

I was informed by one of the support team that some more engines have been sourced.
Earlier marks with less power. But as the man says, it is doubtful that XH558 will need the full power of the later mark engines in the foreseeable future

Is there any link between Little Gransden and Gransden Lodge, venue for a small number of race meetings after WW2?

I had a look on the Bones airfield site and while G Lodge is down as a wartime field (Bomber Command), Little Gransden appears to be a post war developement with no wartime aviation activity (this doesn't preclude it from having some other war time military use of course.

It is a private airfield on the grounds of Fuller's hill farm.
Belongs to Mark Jefferies, aerobatic champion.

Started operating in 1966 and home of The YAK.
