My Triton had a 6T bottom end with a Norton gearbox and it had a triumph chaincase. _________________ 1936 Morris 8 Series 1

Thanks for that info,
triumph chain cases are to long to fit in the A10 frame so i guess i will have to cut them down as i cant move the engine forward any further.
thanks again. |

I spotted a Tribsa in the Isle of Wight last week. It had a 6T engine and chaincase, though I did not take notice of the gearbox fitted. It would probably have been Triumph or I think I would have noticed the difference. I did notice the engine must have been closer to the front down-tube, because the Triumph front pipes fitted reached further forward (past the down-tube) than they would in a Triumph frame.

[quote="the general"]Hi,

I built one, 1967 to 1968. I used a BSA A10 chaincase. I also used an alternator.
I used a BSA gearbox, Triumph clutch, but that will make no difference to the chaincase issue.
Do you have the engine plates? |
