Last sunday myself together with some mates decided to go for a drive together in our classics. In all we were 5 cars, myself in the green mini, my cousin in his freshly restored fiat 124, a friend in his herald 13/60, another friend in his wolseley hornet mark 3 and his father in a red mrk 4 mini.

The location was a parking area near the sea were car enthusiasts were meeting on sundays. There were not many old cars to see though but I snapped a few which were there!

Loved this little 500 although I do not think its a 500cc anymore

some nice cars .one thing lets them down, the wheels on the herald. never liked weller wheels even on landrovers they look cheap and ruin the looks of a decent vehicle, thats just my opinion apart from that some lovely motors Cool

I think so, photo number 2 on this page http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/simca.htm has the front end of a very similar Aronde in it, to the RHS.

Yes the simca is an aronde!
Oh and btw welshrover those on the herald are not wellers but mangels, not as common as wellers and the chrome finish is actually quite nice but I am with you, I never liked wellers much either but I do like them on landrovers though but only if painted black Smile

Jason, James's fiat 124 I think is actually better off than when it left the factory, so high is the standard, I am sure if it was entered in a concourse competition it'd do very well!!
