Well, maybe it's just coincidence, but I saw this thread earlier today and signed up to TPS - been meaning to do it for a while, but you know how it is, hadn't got round to looking it up. Not one call since, and I would have expected at least half a dozen by this time. They do say allow up to 28 days, so will see how we do going forward Smile

Day two, still no annoying calls Very Happy

I still get them but I just hang up. Lately I have been getting calls but no-one is there. I thought at first it was Santa but when I check back its an 0000 number.

Hi

We get 5 or 6 a day minimum, from India or Italy normally.

I have tried everything, registered to stop them, nothing changed, if anything they got worse. I have told them to get lost, put the phone down on them, even said, "no he has unfortunately died or moved house, unfortunately they are that thick and that bad at English, they don't understand anything other than yes or no.

I once felt like I had a bit of time, so went alond with it, though being slightly dim and awkward myself, kept him on the line, the Indian man this time, ppi, for about 40 mins, then told him to F off..

Unfortunately he rang back asking why we got disconnected, this happened untill I went out...

Idiots the lot of them, and I would love to visit them with voo doo doll! lol

It really takes the biscuit when the ring during the night...

Cheers

Dave

Canada has a "no call" list, which is fairly good. Companies that one has done business with or political parties are exempt, but must adhere to a request to have one's number removed from their call list.

We have call display, but no answer service. This tends to frustrate some auto dialling systems after they get repeated "no answer".

Our unwanted calls are still coming in, not as often but still annoying so I have recorded this as a voicemail message and will let the answering machine deal with them Laughing Laughing

Keep getting calls about my wifes ongoing claim for PPI, I must have told them a dozen times that, she doesn't have a claim and she doesn't want to make a claim, please dont call again. Do they listen, NO.

Our land line is ex-directory and registered with the TPS. We no longer get cold calls.
