I said in another thread that I ride a BMW boxer twin.
Many people consider these bikes to be a bit 'old fogey-ish' so I'll post
this little video taken on the isle of man to correct that impression.

It begins when some cheeky upstart on one of those new fangled Japanese thingumies overtakes our hero,
not to be outdone the trusty BMW shows this callow youth a clean pair of heels!

I was in a BMW motorcycle dealership in Glasgow on Saturday and scared the b'jeesus out of myself when I saw the money they were looking for for some of their "Freeway Cruisers" - my first semi-detached house cost less! 
Stick to the "old fogey" version, it still gets you there, its still a Beemer and its a damn sight cheaper. |
