Is that a little Hillman Husky (red and grey) lurking behind that caravan.?
Hope that has not had the Kath Kidston treatment to its 1950`s interior.!!

If you mean the second of my photos with the group shot of some of the vans at a meet??... then it´s Volvo 210 Duett from about 1965 with a Sprite Alpine I think in front of it (same colour combo)

I too feel very sad to see little Sprites, Monzas, etc done up like a floral bouquet, pretty though they are.
In the classic caravan clubs the majority of us endeavour to keep to the original, though with one of our vans, this was impossible, no knowledge of the interior, and no interior! |

But you guys did a wonderful job, the interior is in keeping with the spirit of the builders, not turning the old girl into a joke. _________________ I can resist anything except temptation ! ( Oscar Wilde)

What's this thing with putting bunting on the inside?
Is it for self-garotting enthusiasts?
And then there is the ones who fill the insides with cushions until there's barely enough room for a human inside. Oh, and each and every cushion is covered in a different fabric.
Then they say it's "retro".
Er.. yeah, o'course it is. Go ask your Grandparents and they'll confirm that was just what they did back in the day _________________ 1937 Standard Flying Twelve

tarting up vans to look like !!!! is nothing new
we went to looking at vans in the 80ies before settling on a new monza
they were doing it then
gypsey rose lee and all the triming were in fashion then
kath kidson is so much better and easyer to remove
come on atleast the vans will still be with us and should be for many years to come
they may even be colectable in a few years
