That is the Esso filling station in Motherwell closed now. There have been quite a few within a 10 mile radius of me have closed within the last couple of years. Is it the same where you live.? _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

| My local Total filling station recently rebranded to Esso and there are two more within 4 miles. |

| There seems to be a lot going on recently, some Shell garages are being run by a Canadian concern with a modern poncey name to make it sound environemently friendly. One a few mile away was Esso and is now Jet. and a Total garage I use occasionaly has just changed brands. |

Here in new zealand,shell stations have been renamed "Z".
Why,what, wherefor?You tell me and we'll both know. |
