Thought you might like to see a 7 special bought in 1997. Wife had stated catagorically that she would not ride on a motorcycle again and this was the nearest I could get to a bike, on 4 wheels. The date of manufacture is given as 1935 but the body is by 'Super Accessories' and supplied in the 50s. I have one of their brochures and the price for the body is given as £25. (terms available). We toured Holland in it but it was obviously designed for a far smaller person than me and after the tour I hirpled about like Quasimodo for a while. I really regret getting rid of it in spite of the physical discomfort.

Indecently fast for a 7!! Twin SUs' special pistons, crank, modified head
and loads ofother goodies that I did'nt understand or required my attention. I modified it to 8volts to avoid wearing out the starting handle. |
