Top stuff, do you remember any of the drivers? The Marcos looks like it has hubcaps from a Triumph Herald, with a different centre badge.

Great photos. I like the classic rallying. It was on Eurosport the other day with classic rallying at Knockhill. A Morgan Plus 8 won every heat and there was a wee A35 rally car as well. I dont remember any of the drivers from the 60s.

In the start picture above the white/red Mkl Escort is Keith Bowmaker, a good friend of mine & Ford tuning Guru from Newcastle. I last met him at Knockhill a few years ago when he was still racing a Lotus ll. The start pics in the other post http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/forum/phpbb/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13196
has Yogi Muir & Alan Gardner in the two yank tanks. At that time we had Doug Niven who ran a Mkl Escort in Alan Mann colours(red/gold) & Jenny Birrel & her brother (Graeme?) who ran a pair of Mkl Escorts in white/blue. I believe the brother was killed & Jenny was later running a car dealership in Glasgow but don't trust my old memory on that. Gerry Marshall was also known to turn out in Baby Bertha.
Thinking cap on & I may come up with some others(don't hold your breath)
Cheers,JD.

Marcos logo centre caps & yes they do look like Triumph hub caps - the 2000 also had bolt on badges on the hub caps, cheers,JD.

Gerry Birrell (30 July 1944 – 23 June 1973) was a Scottish racing driver who was killed in an accident during practice for a Formula Two race at Rouen-Les-Essarts.

I was at Croft when Jimmy Goddard, was killed. TVR Vixen 1700. 02 September 1968. It happend right in front of me and I remember his name even to this day. Crying or Very sad

I hope that these two shots of programmes from my collection fit in here. The Brands Hatch one I inherited; I went to the stock meeting as a little lad with my old man, when I was a bit older I went with my mates to see stock racing at Haringay Stadium whenever it was on.

I like the artwork on the stock car programme, similar to the Belle Vue one at the foot of this page http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/racing-programmes.htm, just a lot older!
